A Loafer With Some Weight Behind It
A soft suede loafer with the classic penny strap across the vamp, lifted onto a deep lug platform and a squared block heel. The upper is traditional; everything under it is not.
What makes them special
- Contoured orthopedic-style footbed: an anatomically shaped, cushioned insole that follows the natural line of the arch.
- Chunky lug platform: a deep treaded sole that adds height and grips properly on a wet pavement.
- Penny strap vamp: the saddle strap with its centre cut-out, the detail that makes a loafer a loafer.
- Soft suede upper: a matte, low-sheen finish that reads richer than a plain smooth leather look.
Wear with straight denim turned at the hem, or with a pleated midi and opaque tights through autumn.
